Hi everyone
I thought I'd ask whether any of you have used or listened to active monitor speakers with your PC system for CD and mp3 listening?
I am referring to something like these speakers by Behringer or M-Audio etc :

How do they sound in this application, compared to similar priced speakers from Creative or Logitech (2.1 configuration) speakers going for about R1200-R1500.
I see a lot of people like the Logitech 5.1 systems, but I think those are perhaps being used more for gaming or HTPC, I'm not sure if they represent the best value for their price.
The new PC I got has a decent onboard Analog Device audio chip and S/PDIF output, which might make it a nice little music source on a budget
I'd be keen to hear your views.
Thanks, cheers
