My ADSL maintained a 2mbps connection really well until our lines were stolen.
Since the lines have been restored, the ADSL can no longer hold 2mbps. Having made numerous attempts with both my ISP and Telkom, I am unable to get it resolved.
More recently I learned that a company on 011-822 (I am 011-873), just a few hundred meters away from me is running an 8mbps connection no problem.
I have tried to apply for a line on the other exchange / number series, but you can imagine how that conversation went.
Any ideas ?
No 3G because 2 incoming lines are VoIP
Bonded lines cost too much because all providers of it presume you are bonding 4mbps + 4mbps (where I'd be doing 1+1)
Ideally want the 011-822 number, but how do I get it ?
