I'm trying to decide whether to buy a used Yamaha rx v 2600 or a new rx v767.
The 2600 will be quite a bit less costly and seems to be a higher spec amp albeit older generation.I wont be using it for a second room as I would rather just use an old system there.Im not interested in going 3d either. Are there any newer formats that I will miss out on with the older amp.?
I have a stereo system and need it for blu ray viewing with Paradigm monitor 9 fronts, paradigm 470 centre and for rears I can use Boston a70's or Linn kan 2.I have a boston sub too.
Maybe I can swop out if I find the rears to be doing something.
On my current setup the rears only make tweeter (High feq )sounds so I haven't bothered too much with them.
