Advice: new A/V receiver

Hey there,

I want a new receiver. I certainly haven't kept up with the times and don't even have a brand preference.

My requirements are:
Minimum 2 (prefer 3) HDMI inputs
Minimum 3 component inputs
multiple s-video inputs (usual kind of stuff)
video upconverting from all sources to HDMI
multiple optical & coax digital audio inputs
all the usual, latest audio format support

I currently use the Sony STR-DE898 (in silver) and have outgrown this amp. I don't really have a budget in mind. As you can see from my current amp, I'm not a R20k on an amp spender, but I do appreciate that spending a little extra cash this time around is a little better.

Any advice for me please?
