Hi there

I have finally decided to treat myself and buy a decent receiver and set of speakers.

The primary use cases are for TV, and a turntable I have, with some minor gaming.

I thought to focus only on some bookshelf speakers for now, and then later on upgrade to more speakers, as and when required.

AV Receiver: - looking to spend R10-15k

The received I have been thinking of is the Denon AVRX2500H (which comes with a free FOC HEOS1). I looked at the Denon AVRX2400H, but I see it doesn't come with a phono input :(

I get good prices for Denon, that's why looking at those models, but any reason I should look elsewhere?

Speakers: - looking to spend R5-7k

This is where I need the most help

One of my favourite sites is TheWirecutter, and they had this article:

https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-bookshelf-speakers/

I found them here (https://www.ultrasound.co.za/collections/bookshelf-speakers/products/q-acoustics-3020-bookshelf-speaker-pair) but they are out of stock, what else should I be looking at?

As per the receiver above, I have similar price contacts for Klipsch, Boston Acoustics, Monitor Audio, Polk, but not sure where to start?

Also, Black Friday is this week, anyone know of anything I should look out for?

Thanks for your help.
