My birthday coming up, and my old trusty Makita is packing up after well over ten years. Looking for something pretty proper ... 18V I guess, 24V seems like not really a think in SA.

Any suggestions? Makita, Dewalt, Bosch Blue, Metabo...? Any specs I should specifically look for?
