Hey guys, need some advice on TV?s please?
I bought a LG 42? full HD LCD 10 months back and after around 9 months the panel had a line running down the right side of the TV as well as the optical output that had packed up. Needless to say I won?t EVER be buying LG in the future. Now I was told that because the TV is still under warrantee for the next few weeks they have now sent out a request to either replace my TV or give store credit. Simple really as I don?t want another LG so I have one or two options available to me.
I am a firm believer in LCD?s but have been convinced otherwise of late. I purchased the TV for R7k so after speaking to the salesman I have been told that they only stock LG and Samsung. I am going Samsung but need to know your opinions on the following choices?
Either I can get the Samsung 51? D450 Plasma without having to pay in
Or
I can get the Samsung 42? LCD for R1000 extra
Personally I am quite keen on going plasma but please give me your opinions and advice as I am not that clued up as some of you guys are
