Advice on old TEAC system please....

Hi All,

Have an old TEAC system that I'm holding onto for sentimental value as it was passed down in the family. Consists of Amp -A70 and Tuner -T70 (as well as turntable and cassette player).

The unit still plays fine. The volume knob does have some static when adjusting it and the amps inputs could do with a cleaning. I see guys often talk about their systems being serviced. Is it worthwhile my effort having this system serviced and would it help any? Lastly, if so, any suggestions on who could do this or would one suggest a DIY project and some guidance would be appreciated. I'm situated in Kempton Park.
