Hi all
After finally getting the Oppo BDP 95 I have been searching for for almost a year, I am now keen to step the rest of the system up a gear. I currently have a Rotel 1092 class D power amp driving my mains (B&W CDM 's) and a Yamaha RXV 1600 driving the CDM CNT centre (very underpowered) and the 4 M1's as surrounds. I would like to move to a separate systems with a processor and power amps. What suggestions do our learned forum members have for me, bearing in mind I am not likely to be able to afford the Classe SSP 800 or the like, anytime soon. What processors/pre-amps are locally available at affordable prices? I am very happy with second hand equipment (budget dictates) and am hoping I can find an older but quality processor/preamp and also an older 5 or more channel power amp. I don't think I need too much to drive the M1's but think I need something more powerful for that b&W CDM CNT. Thoughts?
