I recently bought a Rotel RCX 1500 from a forumite. It is a really nice piece of modern hi fi kit with nearly everything included in one box. The problem is that it does not cater for a turntable. It has, however, a pre out for connection to a power amp. I have another integrated amp that does cater for a turntable. I was wondering if it is possible to use the pre out from the Rotel into the aux input on the second integrated amp to play the Rotel's cd, usb dac and tuner through the second amp and then the TT and tape deck from the second amp. I hope it makes sense. Is it safe to do this?
