Hi Guys, really need someone's help as I have never ventured into the insides of a cd player
CDP loads CD, but nothing happens after this.
Stripped down unit (carefully) and found two broken gears that drives the lens unit
Where can I find replacement gears for this unit, or if not available as parts, does anyone perhaps have a tray unit like willing to separate from it for a good cause?
Info: from Teac, but it seems it might be an upside down clone of the Sony KSS240 tray unit and is easily identifiable by the green platter
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Don't really want to buy a new CDP
