OK so I have this old Technics integrated... which I've grown quite fond of... I'm pondering whether I can't make it fit into my current system - as a pre-amp, feeding my Active X-O... If anyone has an OWNERS manual I'd appreciate a copy... the service manual is beyond my meagre electronic talents.
I have to wonder if it won't add something nice to my system as basically there are only unity gain-ish buffers in my active x-o and the pre-amp in this might play nicely with my somewhat sterile sound...
So is this possible looking at the selector knobs on the front? Can I break something by trying? FLTR it is the speaker selector, the recording selector (which includes dubbing from tapedeck 1 to 2 or from 2 to 1...) and then the input selector...
So basically that recording selector... can it be made to work like a pre-amp out... and how would it work.
I am imagining one would just switch the input selector to what you want, then switch the recording selector to that input and have the recording selector hooked up to tape 1 rec out... additionally the audio interface can be hooked up to tape 2 rec out... when I want to convert LP to CD... But I really would not like to break something trying...
