A few years back I attempted to set up a 5.1 system using separates with the Duos as front speakers, it all ended in tears. But what I have left from that setup is the center speaker.
I was looking for something really nice and in the end imported the Aerial Acoustics 3CC center speaker for this purpose. As you can see, it is a 3-way system and should be driven with two amps (or both amps from a stereo amp in mono, as I do). So, one channel drives the left plus mid and the other right plus the tweeter.
What I would like to know is if there is anybody out there that has any knowledge about Arial speakers in general.
It is a really beautifully made piece of furniture and heavy, like it is filled with bricks. Sadly it is totally underused in my setup.
