OK, so I read the whole "what?" thread. Being fairly new in this wonderful "confusing" world of hi-fi, I noted a lot of guys talking about class A amps.
I want to upgrade my system with a power amp in the near future. Rotel comes to mind to match with my Arcam A18 which will obviously be used a pre. I saw they make class AB and class D amps.
The RB1552 is class AB 120wpc x 2 (8ohms)
The RB1572 is class D 250wpc x 2 (8ohms), 500 x 2 (4 ohms)
Now my question: What "type" power amp will suit my MA RX6 speakers the best?
Which type is the better sounding one?
The upgrade must also be taken into account should I upgrade speakers in the future......very far future :roll:
Or must I sell my Arcam and rather get a VA Exclame? :thinking:
