Akai monoblocks and most of a Quad 2.

I butchered an Akai M8 and I now have a pair of valve monoblocks which sound very nice to me. Approx 4w per channel. They are 110v each so they run in series off the mains  ;D

I also foolishly bought a Quad 2 off the forum in scrapyard condition. After some new valve bases, caps, and converting it to 6L6s, it's alive. I even more foolishly sold another Quad 2 a while back as I didn't think i've ever find a twin 

I'll post some pics a bit later.

Also, valves sound better.
