Has anyone here found an alternative to air conditioning? Normal air conditioners are costly, expensive to run and not entirely environmentally friendly.
I had a look at evaporative coolers but the only ones I can find locally are big ducted types with a great big ugly unit sitting on the roof, which would not fly in my estate.
Has anyone tried smaller personal evaporative coolers?
