Alternative to laptop power supply?

Using my laptop with foobar for music playback and the power supply causes very faint buzzy noise over my speakers which I can hear when no music is playing. It dissappears when I switch to battery power. I know that switchmode ps's can cause problems - what are the alternatives? Something with a hunk of iron in it I suppose?
Powers supply is 19V.
