Alternatives to iPods these days?

My iPod Touch 4th Gen 64GB is starting to show it's age and I'm thinking of replacing it...  I've filled it with music so a minimum of 64GB storage is required.

Looking at what's available, it seems that the only viable option is another iPod Touch - seems like these days people use their phones rather!

My phone is a 16GB with no memory card slot so that won't work for me...  Does anyone know of other alternatives?
