I was checking the Specifications of my Harman Kardon AVR 460 and I noticed that the Power Consumption is 890 watts. I am also using Rotel RB990 for main speakers and the consumption for this one in 550 watts. The total power for the 2 amps is 1440 watts. I am also using Mordaunt Short Aviano 7 subwoofer which is 360 watts.
My question is that will this have a big impact on my monthly electricity bill if we play mostly Radio during the day?
Should I maybe look for an Integrated amplifier with lower consumption for everyday use?
Any advice will be appreciated.
