If I define a full range speaker as one which can produce 20hz to 20khz with +-3db on reference access with a 90db sensitivity, is there one of these unicorns at an affordable price ?
Most mid range speakers can do around 40hz on reference access. Would adding a subwoofer on a stereo system cover the shortfall from say 40hz to 20hz, while still producing good integration for music ?
What are your thoughts on adding a subwoofer to a 2 channel stereo setup ?
