So seeing that android media players are quite cheap. Like the cloud gate circle for 1000.
How good are these and how far can I push them?
So would I be able to stream music from my squeezebox server to it and play the music via my dac in a headless setup? Any ideas if this is possible. I know that newer android versions allow connection to a USB dac. Would it then be possible to stream music to it?
Alternatively would I be able to plug in a USB hard drive and play music off that?
Key for me though is having a headless system so ultimately I would need to be able to control it via a phone app or something similar.
