Ok, i'm getting far along enough now to split off into my own topic, methinks.

Next question:

DC voltage on the PSU seems a bit high? When I tested it in "plankie" mode i got a steady 23.54v. Of course, that was before i replaced all the resistors to give them some "air". Switched it on for about 20 secs, ticked up 26.60V to 26.81V at about 0.01V per sec.
