so i finally got round to start doing something about my amp chassis.
i bought the heatsink, then a nice guy did a very good job machining them for me.and then they were lying on my workbench for 2 weeks.
so last night i started working and puzzling.
it was an extrusion cut into 4 pieces and then machined to look like there is only 2 heatsinks.
i joined the 2 heatsinks with some aluminium angle and mounted the 2 F5 boards onto the joined heatsinks.
all this took me 4 hours (i think i am a slow worker )
now i need to have the chassis plates drawn up, cut and bent for the F5, valve preamp for F5 and phono stage.
