So JQ popped in for his usual visit this morning and not ten minutes after leaving I opened the security gate to discover that the glass in front had been cracked further by fighting vagrants no doubt....
Anyway,fast forward another few minutes and my eye catches a pearl white 300 Merc parked 100 mtr's away on the Main Rd with a dodgy looking dude doing an area sweep with his eyes...I slowly start walking in his direction when suddenly a taxi pulls up alongside the Merc...
He stepped back and suddenly rammed his elbow at the window unsuccessfully....at this point I started sprinting towards him,he smashed hard thrice more and the window shattered....people all around just staring in disbelief....I closed in as he reached in and I shouted,he panicked and ran and jumped into the taxi....
The taxi fully occupied I might add,sped off but imagine my surprize when I saw it stop to pick up more people just 200 metres further down.....I contemplated sprinting on when miracle of all miracles a police van came straight down Main Rd right towards me...I ran into the middle of the road and flagged him down,I ran to the passenger side and told him to follow "that" taxi which carried this bastid....
Imagine my shock when he calmly pulled to the side(the taxi now moving) and he tells me he is not currently working but will report it....he then asked me where we were etc....
I was dumbstruck and could not believe it....the taxi disappeared into the distance,he did not call it in which we established later when another cop arrived.Thankfully the bastid never got the Macbook and its bits which the owner had left in it's bag on the back seat while he quickly went to see a client....another day!
