Advice please!
Room 5.5 by 6.5 m. Current speakers: my beloved Sonus Faber Concerto's, 13 yrs old. Sources LP 12 analogue and Opera Consonance CDP, amplification VA Genesis pre and two VA Black Widow monoblocks.
Problem (problem?): want to upgrade SF's to:
First choice SF Guarneri Evolutions - beautiful, but truly silly money, ( sort of, if you have to ask, you can't afford them).

The electrostatics are the ones that scare me a tad. The changeover from subwoofer to higher frequency? Using Spider power to run them at volume? Durability ( I'm afraid Sonus Faber has ruined most speakers for me in that regard)?
And Sonor Audio? Mixed views on the forum. Are they good? Are they great? Or are they " just local "?
Or should I just hold on to my old school Concerto's? Until the Spiders finally flog the dainty Italians to shreds?
