I'm told that the Anthem range of AVRs, specifically the MRX500 and MRX700 are quite a big improvement over the usual Onkyo and Yamaha AVRs. I'm not referring to features, but specifically the sound quality. Anyone care to comment. How good are the Anthems in stereo and with movie sound? What is it about them that sets them apart. If we too for example an Onkyo 3008 and Anthem MRX700, how would they compare? Also in terms of power, are the brands different? What about comparing them to Marantz. Opinions appreciated, but can we stick to the comparison between ANTHEM and others, not a comparison of the other brands with each other please?
