I would like to pick your collective brains. A friend of mine recently bought a Bose Soundlink III bluetooth speaker. All round quite an impressive gadget, and I can see the convenience of it for travel, moving around the house (for those of us who cannot afford multizone AVRs), in the garden, etc. Battery life is also good at 14 hours. Pretty amazing what sort of sound quality and volume comes out of that little brick. What was also impressive was the price - R5700 plus another R890 odd for the cover.
So this leads me to ask if anyone can recommend something comparable in performance, that does not have such a ludicrous price tag. For that sort of money I would rather pick up a good pre-loved AVR on the forum.
