Anybody remember Music Centres?

Did you, your family or friends ever own a music centre? That's the all-in-one tape deck, turntable, tuner, preamp and power amp... the one with the low, wide profile. The most common were the cheap Philips and Sanyo models. Then there were the more sleek, flat Telefunken music centres. While most of the Telefunkens were also junk, the top model was of fairly good quality, and even had a nice Pioneer turntable fitted. Then there were the Blaupunkts; their range-topping Cosmos model was actually really good. And finally the Pioneer Rondo 3000; a nice litttle party machine, but not as nice looking as the Cosmos.

I'm not mentioning the B&O's here, because they were just simply out of reach.
