I did a wipe of my phone over the weekend and installed an updated ROM. ( not necessary, but I felt it needed a spring clean 
) Restored my apps from the backup. All was ok.
Then I decided to update some apps from Google Play. Tapatalk was upgraded to Ver. 5.?
Once in Tapatalk, the hour glass would turn for ages. I would hit the "back" key and select the topic again in order for it to load.
Sometimes the app worked well and sometimes not.
Just went back to Ver. 4.9.5.......... what a breath of fresh air. Snappy again.
