Can someone shed some light on this plasma display and its origin? Apparently several were imported independently. See here http://www.sungroupmonitor.com/plasma_SUN-PD4262.htm. It is made by Sun Group. I am told that the internal slook like Samsung parts, but that the local Samsung agents do not recognise the model.
Someone here is offering a faulty monitor for sale. It looks like it is a full-featured product, albeit a few years old now. 2 independent repairers diagnosed it as needing an input board (which, by my estimation has to be huge, judging by how many input plugs there are). It seems that if I can find a monitor with a broken screen I'll be able to restore it.
Any ideas?
