what im curious about is whether using the analog LPCM audio where the blu-ray player does the decoding then outputs the audio in analog form is any good
i dont have an HDMI 1.4 capable receiver but the one i have does have 7.1 multichannel in - so im pretty sure i could easily use that and send the HDMI directly to the TV for video
only problem is that i then have to do this for normal blu-ray as well as dvd since i will have to sell my other players to afford the 3D capable player and glasses
so if anyone has tried this out then can you give us an idea of how it works ie is it any good and does it live up to the audio that can be experienced via HDMI
