This one came across my path today. Interesting looking. Not really a 'new' concept at the time considering the Systemdek 'biscuit tin' came out first.

The platter is MDF and the sub-platter is a type of plastic. The bearing looks well made with something I have not seen before. The spindle is flat. The bearing has a 'cone' type extrusion at the bottom with a polished tip...

When the bloke dropped it off he was wondering it was missing wires as there were two clips that looked like they once had wires. When i was setting the table up I could not get the platter centred on the deck. When I looked again (and after a bit of googling) I realises that the two 'wire points' were actually to hold an elastic band. The elastic band holds the platter centred so that the belt does not pull it off centre  :eek:

I serviced the armlift as that had lost most of its damping fluid... I have a soft spot for these Jelco arms...
