I've asked a few people this question, but as there are some people on here that may also do HR for a living, thought I'd give it a go :
Is there a timeframe within which to appeal a verbal warning that is disagreed on, assuming the disciplinary code is silent on the matter? HR, biased towards the company, is saying 5 days and the appeal was submitted formally 4 weeks down the line. However, CCMA says if the code is indeed silent, there is no formal time frame to follow.
I'm going via CCMA - but curious ?
