R100 bucks for these cabinets. Woofers missing, one tweeter open-circuit (blown) and from what I found on the web it is suppose to have a 0.3mH inductor on the tweeter (WTF?) with a resistor and a cap and another 0.6mH inductor on the woofer. The crossover networks is missing, only the caps is left.
These are the tweeters, they look Taiwan even though the back of the cabinets says Made in England. From what I can remember the original AR 18s were Made in USA, not England.
These tweeters aren't every good, in fact you can barely hear the single tweeter even with the balance to right with a pair of Ammps (not a spelling error) mid/woofers installed, they seemed best for this kind of situation since there is no chance to restore them to original looks. I removed the AR tweeters and got myself a pair of Pioneer tweeters. They sound so good at the moment I feel it won't even be necessary to restored them back to their original AR glory.
