Hello fellow forumites,
My boss has recently moved house and in the process his old speakers have been packed up for ages. He's dug them out and I have attached pics of them here:
The speakers are Pioneer CS-T6000 units and the amp is a Pioneer SA1490. Are they any good?
The plinth on the speakers (chipboard) is a bit shot but can easily be repaired. I am tempted to open them up and see if the whole cab is being used, as the reason he cant use them is because of the size. I am tempted to try build them smaller (ie, flatter, albeit wider) cabinets so that he can persuade his missus to use them as speakers for their patio area (covered). If only parts of the cab are actually being used for the drivers then I will hopefully be able to reduce their size quite a bit.
