I must admit to dollops of suspicion or skepticism - even a pinch of paranoia from time to time.
It has happened several times during the past few years when there are forex transactions in the pipeline, that I get related spam which could 'encourage' me to click on something, which of course I will never do.
All this makes me ponder how secure and safe the banks' forex departments are. Are there perhaps 'moles' buried deep inside the banks' systems ready and waiting to tip off fraudsters waiting to separate you from your money?
My suspicions could of course be based on what I admitted to in the first line of this post, but still...the forex matter is between myself and my bank. At least that's how its supposed to be.
How come I get these spams which broadly fits my business activities with unerring timing?
Checking out the sender - wananchi - doesn't tell one much apart from that it appears to come from China.
Time to call in the boys from Corleone?
