Picked up this Ariston RD40 from Andre (Kent Kassler) last week and decided on a quick weekend project!
Stripped the deck completely and resprayed the cast chassis, polished up all the chrome bits and gave it a lube job. Found some spikes I had lying around as the rubbed feet were perished, and voila, a beautiful deck that is completely silent running and great on the eye. Will have to see how the ears like it once I have decided on a cartridge to use............ Very pleased with my classic collectible!
