This morning I went to the local post office to get my mail and there was a card in my box for a parcel too big to fit in my box.
It was addressed to: Mafioso

So I go inside and saw 2 SAPS konstabels kitted-out in bulletproof vests, helmets and grenades hanging everywhere. As I approached the counter, two pump action shotguns swung in my direction and one of the two civilians kitted out in safari suits hissed at me in Afrikaans - "Steek jou hande in die lug, meneer!" and the other civilian rasped in a hoarse voice something equally threatening in poor Italian.
They patted me down, cuffed me and before you could say :Ciao, Ciao bambina", I found myself in the holding cells at Wynberg Magistraats Kantoor.
I got out of there after 4.00pm this afternoon after signing over all of my assets, those of my brothers and sister and handing them two cake tins full of WW11 era Egyptian costume jewellery. At least they allowed me to keep my new 40X LED-lit magnifier...
