ASCENDO has announced the release of two new sealed 18” passive cinema subwoofers with a shallow profile, namely:
– The 18 PRO SUB Passive Sealed Shallow (single 18" woofer)
- The 18-2 PRO SUB Passive Sealed Shallow (dual 18" woofer)
Both subwoofers are claimed to offer refined musicality, tightness, control, air-volume displacement and output levels that their competition cannot rival.
The enclosures are only 26cm deep to accommodate a wider range of applications where larger enclosures just can’t fit.
The 18 PRO offers features such as 2500W RMS power handling and 133 dB SPL peak; whereas The 18-2 PRO offers 5000W RMS power handling and 139 dB SPL peak.
ASCENDO has their own powerful external amplifiers (DSP controlled) to drive these beasts.
