So, there again, to old to learn how to play the guitar, so not here in that line of business, and anyone out there trying to make a deal, my soul is not worth that.
Having spent a bit of time looking for cartridges that quest is, for the time being, finished and the signal chain is where I want it to be.
It now looks like this:
Starts at a decent TT
Micro DDX1000 with a Fidelity Research FR24 where the Denon DL-103S resides since long, and a STAX UA-70 12" arm where the Ortofon SL-15, JVC MC-1 and MC-2 or Hana ML-L works in shifts, the Hana done all duty the last 4 weeks.
Signal falls down into
A very good preamplifier, containing among the best RIAA stages ever produced, one dedicated MC input, not with a stepup stage, all over RIAA with gain for low level MC cartridges and one MM input.
And then into
This amplifier entered another thread 4 weeks ago, a mythical piece of equipment, it will remain here, this is one good amplifier.
And then enters here
And then exits here
So What?s the problem, why at the crossroads again?
