Thanks to the forum , avsa and gumtree and all these other places . we are lucky to find bargains equipment costing a third or less of its retail price . So we are fortunate enough to be able to upgrade get equipment we could never have afforded brand new . Sitting looking at my equipment. Were i to look at the retail price brand new sum it all up i could never afford this . If i was to walk into a shop i could not fork out the kinda cash required to put a system like this together .

Yes i am a gear whore always keen to try the next set of speakers , amplifiers , preamp dac cable etc . and at some point i crossed over .
