Howdy folks

I'm doing my best to try and give a buddy some advice about HT. He is planning on converting a space into a dedicated cinema room. Dimension are 4.7m (long) x 3.05m (wide) x 2.5m (high). He wants Atmos and has been doing a bit of reading. My current HT is limited to a Yamaha HTIB jobbie and I previously only ever had 5.1 systems, so I don't want to give advise about something that I have limited experience in. He mentioned that the current opinion on the interweb and technical sites is that 5.1.4 is a more involving experience than 7.1.2, so he is of the opinion that 5.1.4 is the current Atmos sweet spot and the ideal solution for his room size. Source will be BD, streaming and dstv and he will use a projector. Seating will be 2 rows of 3 seats. He wants no visible speakers, so all must be in-wall/in-ceiling (except for the sub which he is happy to hide somewhere/place in a corner).

I promised him that I will get some thoughts from the knowledgeable members on this here forum.

Please help with some ideas/thoughts on:
- 5.1.4 vs 7.1.2 or alternative recommendation for his room size based on your experience
- best bang for buck in-wall/in-ceiling speakers
- best bang for buck 9 channel Atmos AVR. He mentioned that he looked at the Denon 4300 and Marantz 6011. I'm sure Yamaha, Onkyo etc also have suitable models
- Projector screen size for that size room (considering the width is only 3m and also have to accommodate 3 in-wall speakers). The front seat will probably be around 2.5m to 3m from the wall that will have the projector screen.
