I have put up a proposal for "AudioDIY Exchange" here:

In a nutshell it is a platform where topical questions can be asked and answered quickly by anyone. Answers are then voted for by other people so that you can quickly get to the most widely accepted answer. You also earn reputation points when your questions or answers get voted for.
This is NOT an attempt to replace the forum. It is a different platform with a different mindset that does not necessarily compete with that of the forum.
