Hey guys, my both beautiful and loving wife bought me a Velodyne SPL-1000 Ultra as a Christmas present. I'm still waiting on delivery but I'm understandably excited. I've already read the online manual but one thing perplexes me, should I use the sub's built in 7 band Auto-EQ in conjunction with my reciever's Audyssey MutiEQ XT or leave the equalization up to my reciever alone?
I know the stock answer to such a question is to test with my own ears but I'd like some opinions in order to streamline the process by providing peace of mind in my decision. If left to my own devices, tinkering could go on for months.
