I had a whole rant how I dont use audyssey it only makes things worse. It made my previous setup in my difficult room sound a lot worse than without it.
I kind of stand corrected now. With the mid range B&Ws Im running now it works very well. Sounds great with audyssey off but also with it on. And the volume compensation etc with audyssey is actually very nice to have.
My "I hate audyssey" has changed to audyssey can be nice depending on your setup - just go with what your ears tell you.
