I am upgrading my Marantz AV8003 AV Processor in my main listening room, problem is I don't know to what yet?! I have a shortlist and have listened to most of them, but they are all really good and maybe I can get a bit of insider info / advice here from members who own / have owned some of the contenders. Additionally if there are any other models that I should be looking at, but have overlooked, maybe you can mention them?
The shortlist is:
Anthem AVM50V
Anthem D2V
Classe SSP-800
Lexicon MC12HD EQ
I have ruled out the Onkyo completely.
I am partnering this with B&W 800D's and matching centre and surrounds. Amplification is Mark Levinson.
I listen to music 50% and watch movies 50%. The idea is to perhaps move the AV8003 to my bedroom setup afterwards.
