It took some time but they're here. HD video has been supported for a while now but to find an AVR that supports HD audio was a little harder to find. This taken from Home Cinema Choice

Pioneer has announced a range of new AV receivers for the summer. Top of the range and compatible with the latest HD audio formats is the 1080p-ready VSX-LX50. A seven channel, 150 watt model, it will be the first Pioneer to offer onboard Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio decoding. It can also be hooked up to an iPod and boasts a USB port for PC/ memory stick connectivity.
With an eye to the future, the LX50 can also networked via Ethernet and is DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compliant. Price TBA.
It will be joined by the VSX-417, the VSX-817 and the VSX-917AV.
