Just a question for the well informed out there ;D
If you have a semi decent AVR receiver (I have a Denon AVR-1912), how does this compare with playing a cd back in "stereo" mode to using a specifically designed stereo amp (around the R4000 mark) and playing back the same track.
Assuming the source is the same cd player and using the same connectors and speakers for both set up's.
The reason I am asking is I love kicking back and listening to music, and was wondering if I should use a seperate system all together? or if the AVR will be able to deliver the same quality.
Speakers that I have for the fronts are the Mission M35i's.
