Good evening all.
I was gifted a blown AVR. It?s HDMI board was fried by lightning.
So, I take it home, turn on and connect a phone to the CD Input.
Rather surprised by the sound quality. Also, the menu works via faceplate and remote.
Here?s the thing. The case gets very hot around the video board that has a hole in it...
Is there a way to remove the HDMI board yet keep the rest of the amplifier running?
The amp in question is a Marantz 5003.
