Out of interest's sake...over the last year, which were your favourite covers and why?
The problem we face each and every month is in coming up with a cover that looks interesting/striking, and at times what we (I) feel is a great cover, doesn't seem to go down well with especially those people who buy 'in store'. It's not an easy task, since 99% of the time you have uninspiring pictures to work with: square boxes, rectangular boxes..boxes, boxes, boxes...
What works for you? Does a more 'arty' cover, like the November 2007 work well, or do you in general prefer something like what was featured on the June 2007 cover - straight and to the point?
